What Are The Symptom Of Pregnancy?

The last time i had intercourse was about 4 months ago, and i have been having monthly periods, but this month im 9 days late.. i felt movement and pain in my lower abdomen, and when i put my hand on my stomach i felt a poke on my hand.. is there a chance i could be pg? Or what else can it be?

Hello and welcome,

If the periods were regular after intercourse then pregnancy is not likely.

Also even if there is a pregnancy the in just 9 days the baby if just a few grams and cannot be felt through the abdomen. So the poke was most likely intestinal movement.

Please wait for a few days as stress, minor hormonal abnormalities and heavy exercise are common causes of delayed periods. So they may come after some days.

If the periods continue to remain absent for more than a month then other causes like hormonal imbalances, ovarian cysts will need to be evaluated. You will need to see a gynecologist for these.

So as of now, just wait and the periods may come after a few days.
