Hello today I got my blood and urine results the doctor told me that I am having problems with my thyroid, I am trying to read the lab results and I can't understand nothing I am reading. I usually go to the internet to find the answers but now I can't get the answer. There is blood in the urine large High, Protein in the urine 25 high, also urine RBC/HPF 20-50 high. Folate serum/plasma .20 high. TSH10.90 high. So I don't understand what this all mean and if it has something to do with my thyroid?
Please let me know your gender. If you are female and you are having menstrual cycles now -your urine tests is normal , blood in urine may be spillage from menstrual blood. If you are not you should have a detailed evaluation(repeat urine examination, urine culture and an ultrasound of abdomen)
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
