Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding treatment for ear pain, swollen ear canal, swollen lymph node and you are already on treatment for RA.

If your clinical history for ear disease is of short duration than possibility is of acute otitis externa with cervical lymphadenitis. But if it is a chronic is of long duration with slow onset of symptoms one by one gradually than it needs thorough examination and some investigations to diagnose it and to treat it. You are advice for these basic investigations-

1- C.T. Scan of ear.

2- Blood- CBC, ESR, Blood sugar (F & PP), SGPT, Serum creatinin.

With the help of above investigation reports and findings of clinical examination one may reach to possible diagnosis and that may be manage accordingly.

Regards.
