earlier i was suffering from acne problem. dermatologist prescribed for accutret 20... after intake of one month, acne got reduced but acne marks got very red which look very prominent on face... can u advice.. whether i continue with accutret20 or change the medicine....
One major side effect of isotretinoin is that it dries tissues, causing dry skin, cracked lips, dry mucous membranes.This cause dryness,redness and peeling of skin.You can continue the drug for 8 to 10 weeks.In case of severe redness,avoid using the drug.Effects of the drug can exist for a few weeks after stopping the drug.
