What Are These White Patches On My Daughters Leg ?

Hello Doctor My daughter is 6 year old weight 45 pounds.We live in US TEXAS. she has 1 or 2 dry white circular patches on her lower part of the leg.She doesnot have any itch.They are round in shape and has pale white border .I am seeing them mostly in summer.Is it something to worry about?

Hi,thanks for query.I do not see any reason for worry.They could be areas of hypo pigmentation in that part.Please keep a watch on them,if the increase in size or number,you need to see a dermatologist.Other wise do not worry.This can happen at times after minor trauma or otherwise.

u need not to worry but need to take care of her skin
apply good moisturizer twice a day
it may be due to dry skin ,p.versocolr ,dermatitis ,p.alba ,etc
better to consult dermatologist once .
she may need to apply mild steroid cream .
give her more water and green veg .
wear her full cloths and avoid sun light.
