My glucose level gets as low as 36 with shaking and sweating. what can I do to raise the glucose level up. Is there a better food than peanut butter and milk? or should I just take a glucose tablet. Its worse at in the evening and night. Is there a prescription I can take that will level the glucose out.
Hello, Taking glucose tablet is sufficient to raise your blood sugar levels but you should consult your doctor to know the cause of low blood sugar. If you are a known diabetic and are on anti diabetic medications, then you need to lower the dose so as to avoid hypoglycemia. It is very essential to avoid hypoglycemic attacks as they can be fatal. Thanks
