What Can Be Done For Severe Pain, Acid Reflux Following Cough Treatment With Dextrometorphan, Guaifenesin?
I took dextromethorphan,20mg & guaifenesin,400mg for the start of a cough. It irritated my upper stomach
causing severe pain and acid reflux. I only took 3 pills, then stopped. I just tried drinking hot tea and it
burned the stomach area. I stopped the pills last Friday. It's been 3 days. What can I expect.

Hi...its acute gastritis... take some ppi for a week and avoid tea...you will be fine...
