What Can Cause A Bump Behind The Right Molar?

I have a bump on the soft palate of my mouth behind the back right molar. Initially, about 4 weeks ago it was a canker sore, which after it healed, the bump remained there. It is not visible, and not painful to the the touch. What signs should I look out for?

Hello, thank you for consulting with healthcaremagic.
As you are mentioning that you are having a bump behind your molar tooth, it looks that it is a swelling caused by some infection whether from the tooth or from the gums.
Actually when there is infection in the tooth, it can progress to the apical area of the tooth, which is the palate in case of upper tooth, but still it can be diagnosed better in an x - ray.
So better you should visit your dentist to get a root canal treatment done in the wisdom tooth to get it relieved.
Hope it will help you.
