what causes a baby of 2 year to have difficulty in breathing at night and smelly breath? this has happened after boot of flu which has cured.

It is quite possible there may be an upper respiratory infection like Tonsillitis which can also cause difficulty swallowing. There are other causes which may be dangerous as well. If he has fever, kindly wet a cloth and wipe the body. Do it once every half hour. Take him to the ER to rule out tonsillitis.
