What Can Cause Pain In Leg Of A Patient With Sciatica?
Hi!! I have suffered from sciatica for a long time. At least that is what I assume it is. It is only one leg at a time. Sometimes I go months at a time with no problems. Advil Liqui-gels do the trick usually in 20-30 minutes. Five years ago I had a MRI, but they found no problems from that. Not to gross you out, but the pain is the worst when I have to strain to poop. Any advice. One other thought no idea if this is relevent I have a big Varicose vein on my left knee pit..

*Pain in leg with Sciatica is purely neuritic in origin due to compression of
Sciatic nerve of the concerned lower limb.
*relation with Varicose vein doesn`t suit to much extent so far as your pain
pattern is concerned.
*Have to follow certain measures :
- attain all positional changes with utmost care.
- avoid sudden excess banding
- do regular light exercises regarding back & deep breathing exercises
- take analgesic as and when required , also locally acting sprays also have
good results for acute pain.
