Mole is a harmless pigmentation on body. But if it increases in size and become tender or sore to touch, then it is a matter of concern. It may be infected by constant rubbing of thighs and antibiotic will cure it. Or it may not be infection but a warning sign for cancer. Melanoma is a common type of skin cancer often confused with a mole. You should consult a dermatologist for examination and investigations.
