What Caused Transient Ischemic Attack? Test Shows No Problem In Arteries Or Veins. Taking Medication For BP, Cholesterol

Hi, just had a TIA last week and just before this happened I was unable to get a reading of my blood pressure for several months first thing in the morning.
After trying a few times and excerising the arm the machine would do a reading eventually.
For the last few months this has been happening. Have had many tests at the cardiac hospital and results all show no signs of problems with arteries or bleeding in the veins.
At the moment on high blood pressure and cholesterol medication and aspirin.
Do hope you could give me some insight to the cause of this predicament
Thank you Maureen

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
As the name it self suggesting , 'TIA' "Transient Ischemic Attack" the blood flow stops in brain area for certain time periods and that causes the ischemia in that area, and this causes transient fainting attacks, the reason behind the sluggish or no blood flow is disturbances in brain blood circulation particularly in center portion of brain called circle of willis the reason behind the blood circulation disturbances may due to Hypertension, Diabetes, Cardiac pathologies, infections, trauma, these are the main causes, but TIA can be treated with great success and prognosis is very good, hope this could satisfy you have a nice day.
