What Caused Severe Pain Across The Top Of My Abdomen Extending From Left To Right?
I am a fifty year old perimenopausal female with a history of migraines. Recently I have experienced severe pain across the top my abdomen extending from left to right. There is no nausea and the pain eases after a number of hours. What could this be?

This type of pain in the upper abdomen can be due to number of reasons :
Colitis
Gastric ulcer
Gastric cancer
pancreatitis
Get investigated by ultrasonography, upper GI endoscopy and other relevant investigations to get a proper diagnosis and correct treatment Menopause and Migraine may not have to do anything with such type of pain.
