What Causes A Bony Mass On The Upper Abdomen?
Hi. I am a 35 year old male. A week ago I noticed a hard bony type mass in the upper middle of my stomach in the location of my zyphoid process. It is not painful. I have had an xray and ultrasound but all was said to be normal. I am worried and the doctors don't seem concerned. No one can tell me what it is. Any suggestions?

its may be bony over growth of xiphoid process...u need not worry if usg study is normal...swelling might be superficial...consult a surgeon and u might get the swelling excised if u r concerned
