What Causes A Huge Lump On The Vaginal Wall?

I felt a huge lump on the left side of the vaginal wall. not painful but very worrisome. has a harder point to it and all a softer sac like feeling. I read some posts online stating that i might be feeling my cervix. I can only feel it on my left side and have never noticed it before.
