2 weeks ago I was playing football and went over on my ankle, i self diagnosed a sprained ankle and followed the R.I.C.E procedure for the first 72hours, i was unable to weight bear for the first 48 hours. the brusing has completely disappeared and i can walk normally but my ankle is still swollen and painful to touch. i have now developed an itchy red rash just above my sock line that worsens if i walk for long periods are these related and what should i do?
