What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bleeding During 14 Weeks Pregnancy?
I am 14 weeks pregnant and have bad abdominal pain that the doctor told me was probably round ligament pain. But the pain starts around 2pm everyday and last into the night. It hurt so bad I struggle walking. I started spotting 6 days ago and yesterday I have more bleeding, but it has gone down. I am concerned that it isnt just round ligament pain (this is my second and I never had this pain with my first child). How do I know what to do?
Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. If I were your doctor, even though the bleeding had stopped, I would advise you for an ultrasound abdomen to know the well being of the fetus. Further management would purely depend on the ultrasound report.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef
