What Causes Acid Reflux?
hi doc....i am 27yrs old i am getting a salted/bitter taste in my mouth, my stomach is stuffy and burning at times. i was told that is acid reflux.....i used omeprazole, nexium and other antacids, but nothing seems to be working. currently im using acidophilus with pectin and that dont seem to be working either. i jus what to know what is the possible cause of the symptoms and y aren't any of the antacids working.

1.Acid reflux disease
2.Sinus infection
3.pine nut syndrome
4.burning mouth syndrome
5.Dry mouth (aging
certain medications
an autoimmune disease, such as Sjögren syndrome, which causes excessive dryness in the mouth and eyes
tobacco smoking)etc..
You need to be evaluated by examination as and investigation to confirm the causative. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
