Hello,
You are having an oval rash on the upper back. You are advised to use moisturizers or lotions to prevent skin from becoming dry. You can also use topical
corticosteroids to reduce inflammation. Take antihistamines to reduce itching. Oral corticosteroids are prescribed only if the rash covers a large area of your body.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a
dermatologist. You may be recommended UVB
light therapy if required (in cases of
pityriasis rosea). If
fungal infection, jock itch is detected you will be given a course of antifungal medication and creams for relief. You are also having pain in the chest/diaphragm pain, it can be due to gastritis, nerve impingement, hiatal hernia, gallbladder problems,
musculoskeletal pain, be careful when you exercise, never be hasty, etc.
You can take PPIs for relieve. Take
acetaminophen or naproxen, one stat when needed in case of severe pain. Get connected to a Physical therapist, gentle massage with pain relieving ointment will be helpful. This type of pain in the diaphragm may take time to reduce. You should also take care of your posture while sitting, standing, walking or running. Stay away from addictions if any. Get clinically assessed, get treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
