What Causes Back Ache With Throat Pain And Vaginal Spotting?
I took a pregnancy test & it said I wasn't pregnant, but I have had back aches & I'm tired all the time.
My throat also hurts & I;m spotting, but not on my period.
I have to pee ALL THE TIME!
Also, I had unprotected sex the same day that I missed taking my birth control pill.
What's wrong with me?

Hi,
According to your description the possible causes of your symptoms are:
- During premenstrual period body pains, backache, spotting, etc., symptoms can be seen.
- As your urine pregnancy test kit gave negative result the possibility of pregnancy is less.
- Pelvic infection due to unprotected intercourse is one more possibility which can present with increased frequency of micturition, body pains, etc.
- For throat pain, any oral or respiratory tract infection has to be ruled out.
As you missed the contraceptive pill if you want to be very sure regarding the pregnancy, please go for a blood test for pregnancy. If the serum beta HCG levels are less than 5 mIU/mL, it rules out the possibility of pregnancy. You may get your periods soon, meanwhile you can take symptomatic treatment with analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs with your doctor's advice.
