What Causes Back And Abdominal Pain With Blood And Clots In My Stools?

Thank you. I have a history of internal hemmoroids and have had fissure surgery with excellent results, however in recent day I have been having back and abdominal pain with blood in my stools and then bright red clots.

Have had yearly colonoscopies with occasional removal non-maligant polyps What is your suggestion?

I would suggest checking your coagulation profile(PT/ INR). Your age is not mentioned for me to analyse causes of your problem. When was the last colonoscopy? Angiodysplasias or Diverticulosis could explain your problems especially if your age is over 60yrs.
