Solid Black/Brown Stool with dark red/brown liquid color seeping out. Assuming it may be blood. The red/brown liquid color settles around the stool at the bottom of the toilet bowl. I had homemade cooked beets two days ago and have notice the change in my stool the next morning after eating the beets for dinner. Two days later my stool is still the same. I have never had this happen before. I had my last colonoscopy October, 4 years ago and had two polyps removed. I was scheduled to go for another colonoscopy three years later and did not have it done last year. I am contacting the doctor this week to schedule the colonoscopy as soon as possible. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated with my issue.
