What Causes Black Stools And Dark Orange Red Urine?

I had a high inr about 10 days ago (4.7). It has since been lowered. However, since that day, I continue to have a dark orange reddish color urine, and blackish stools. I hadn't had a bm for a while and my skin is a little yellowish. I took some milk of magnesia to induce bowel movement and that worked. But I have congestive heart failure and an lvad (left ventricular assist device) until I can get a transplant. What is going on with my digestive tract and urine?
