Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i was brushing my 2 year old sons teeth last night & his top gums started bleeding enough to cover his tongue. Now he does have a tooth coming in on top but the bleeding seemed to be coming from his front teeth, not the 1 coming in & his gum did look a little swollen. He also has been crying only when i brush his top teeth for a couple weeks but only yesterday did it bleed pretty good.

What Causes Bleeding In The Gums Of A 2 Year Old?
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. By what you quote I put forth these possibilities. 1. Bad oral hygiene - regular brushing with soft children brush at least once a day 2. Vitamin C deficiency - I suggest you t see a pediatrician for this as this might have changes in bones also. 3. Bleeding disorder and it again needs evaluation by a pediatrician or hematologist.
