What Causes Bleeding Of Moles?

I have a mole on my stomach right under belly button. I have this mole all my life but in the last 2 years it has become dry, raised above the skin pieces fall off of it BUT now in the last 6 months it has reddness like an irritation around it, it bleed out of the center of it and has been pussing. What could this be?
