Before i started taking the drops I had a blocked ear in the infected ear and still have & now when I move my head to left & right there is a grinding sound now - very annoying??? Any thoughts? Thx

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blockage in the infected ear which is due to frequent ear infections. The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to simple ear wax to more serious acoustic neuroma like condition. Need not to worry. You should take preventive measures such as
- Avoid touching or pricking it with any sharp object.
- Maintain hygiene of ear canal.
- Put Otogesic ear drops.
I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order certain test like audiometry , CT scan, low and high pitched ringing to rule out underlying systemic conditions. Doctor may treat it according to the diagnosis , he/she may prescribe medicine like eprisone and antibiotics.
