Good morning. I recently had a colonoscopy carried out under the Government screening program the result of which was completely clear. However I am still finding that there is blood in my stools. Can you advise please what other problems are likely to cause this.
If this is the blood-stained stool then it may be due to constipation because it is the most common reason seen for blood-stained stool beside this there are several reasons for this and all that needs complete work-up. It may be infection also but first ruled out constipation.
