What Causes Blood In Urine, Bloating Of Stomach And Irregular Bowel Movements?
my husband is 39 and weighs about 200 pounds and is about 6'2". my husband has gone to doctor and has moderate amounts of blood in urine as can only be seen through a microscope. he has also had bloating and fullness in his stomach for the past couple of weeks and cannot eat as much as used to and has not been having bowel movements as much as has in past 1 to 2 times a day versus 2 to 3 times a day. his doctor is now sending him to a urinologist and i am worried cause i am 3 months pregnant and do not want anything to happen to him. can you tell me what you think is wrong? He has also been put on lipitor for high cholestrol and been taking that for about a week now.
Hi. First congratulations on being pregnant. U should not be afraid but cautious. Any amount of blood in urine needs thorough evaluation with urine routine, culture and cytology. U must also get ultrasound KUB done to rule out stone disease or possibility of malignancy in kidney or bladder. He may require Cystourehtroscopy also. Kindly get back with these reports so that I can guide u further.
