What Causes Blurred Vision?

i woke up today with hazy vision, i am near sighted with a -4.75 contact prescription. 30 years old 200 lbs with no medical issues in the past. my vision is focused but seems a bit weak, and like looking at fog i guess, its hard to explain. could it be dehydration after a long night of drinking?
