What Causes Bony Lump On Collar Bone?

I am a 63 yr. old woman, 5"9" and 140 lbs with very slight osteopenia in the lower spine. Otherwise no health1 issues. About a year ago I started to n0tice a bony lump on my collar bone . The doctor did a scan on it and said it was a sort of arthritis. The lump is getting larger. Should I be worried? It doesn't hurt but is unsightly.
