Hi, my mother in law is 77 years old and is experiencing breathlessness that she says wakes her at night. Her lung saturation is fine and there are no other problems. We were told that she may not be drinking enough fluid. Can dehydration affect how she breathes? I feel it most likely lack of good sleep and axiety over the matter.
yeah you are right. anxiety can cause this. but no relation with food intake. go for his blood test cbs. she can have asthma if easinophil count is more. you can also go for lung function tests to rule out other pathologies. hope my answer helped you. take care and follow the instructions.
