What Causes Bruises And Leakage After Arthroscopic Knee Surgery?
Hello, I had arthroscopic knee surgery. My leg ha black bruises from upper thigh down side of leg behind and behind knee. My incision has leeking down my leg when I stand, walk orwhen my knee is bent. It soaks through ace bandage along with any bandage. It has been over a week, is this normal?
I have studied your case with diligence. Sokage can be for first 2 -3 days, this can be arthroscopy saline fluid.
You may need to rule out infection. Bruising can be due to venous occlusion. You need to do proper physiotherapy protocol before and after surgery to strengthen your quadriceps and hamstring muscles.
Knee support like knee cap or hinged knee brace will be helpful,
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
