What Causes Burning In Stomach And Chest With Bubbling In Throat?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...yes i been having problems with my stomach when i lie down or siting i feel this fuzz feeling in my throat its like a bubbling feeling, and i have a lot of mucus in my throat all time im feeling bloating all the time as well and burning in my stomach and chest?
Bloating in stomach can cause GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). This in turn can give you the feeling of bubbling in throat. The inflamed mucosa in throat gives rise to excessive mucus production.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- Take a PPI like Omeprazole. - Antacids when on empty stomach. - Domperidone drug which may need a prescription. - Clinical evaluation by your Doctor and referral to a Gastroenterologist if needed for an Upper GI Endoscopy and further management. - Ultrasonography of abdomen. - X-ray of abdomen in standing position to see if there is any intestinal obstruction. - Tests of blood stool and urine will give additional information for proper diagnosis and proper management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant
