What Causes Chest Pain And Fast Heart Rate After Smoking A Cigarette?

Hi. I smoke occasionally. I smoked two cigarettes yesterday and my heart is beating heavily now and i felt a little bit of chest pain. Not too much. But I didn't feel anything last night. Yesterday was my first cigarette after my last one a week ago. Is it normal?

Hi,

Cigarette has the effect of constricting blood vessels and causing fast heart beating.
Blood vessel contraction can itself cause chest pain.
In your case you have high sensitivity to nicotine, so you have symptoms even from little amounts. So I would advise you not to smoke.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
