What Causes Congestion In Both Hila And Shadow In Right Infrahilar Region?

i am 75 year old women ,i have dry cough and temperature around 100 since 2 weeks ,i follow up for the some reports my WBC count is 28000 and my chest x-ray report is My both Hila are congested and increased shadow seen in right infrahilar reigion.Please suggest me what kind of this infection or any thing else .

I can understand your concern.
Possibility of pneumonia (lung infection) is more.
Evidence for this are
1. Fever
2. High WBC count
3. Shadows on chest x ray (bilateral hilarious and right infrahilar).
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, sputum culture and sensitivity report and if needed Bronchoscopy and BAL analysis.
Culture report will isolate the causative organism and sensitivity report will guide about effective antibiotic treatment.
