What Causes Constant Fever?
dr, my father had staph infection, suspected to infective endocarditis of post mitral vulve replace ment, and treated with iv antibiotics for 28 days but he had the fever regulerly still now, doctor says to wait and mentain reguler fever chart, he was treated with paracitamol, he last cbc report shows wbc 5400 rbc 1.83 lakh himoglobin 5.60 neutrophil 22% lymphcyte 74%

His WBC count is pretty much in the normal range showing no left over infection. That's why they asked you to maintain the chart. Sometimes patient feel fever, but it's just a subjective feeling. You check with thermometer and nothing comes out. I will appreciate if you please give me detailed chart of his fever thermometer readings and I will be in a better position to help you.
