What Causes Constant Pain In Legs After Taking Tamoxifen?
Breast Cancer Stage 3C - 19/23 nodes positive - right mastectomy. I did not do chemo my choice but I did radiation and in Aug 2013 started tamoxifen No noted side effects until 2 months ago and the list is very long! The worst being constant pain in both legs and feet - from the tip of my toes all the way to my knees - burning and feels like I am on fire! Many others but this one concerns me the most.
Tamoxifen has documented side effect as pain and swelling in the legs and/or arms. You have to continue it till desired period of time as told by your physician along with that you can take non harmful molecules as Tylenol for severe leg pain episodes. Maintain your hydration levels and consume balanced nutritious diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Purva Patel
