It is normal my brother passed bright red blood without any stool after colon resection 5 days for sigmoid cancer? His abdominal bloated and with CBC 19000 on the third day of post surgery after given liquid and then antibiotic was given. His CBC going to 16000, then 14000 now on the 6 days post surgery. KUB on 5th days find colon extended. HR is betwwen 90 to 100. He still on NGT. On third day doctor trid for liguid and then with abdomonal bloated. So no food by mouth since then. He went to bothroom today, but no thing passed out. What the medication should to give to left him to pass stool? What is the possible cause for abdominal bloated? What it should do to finding the cause. In which point surgery should be done to relieve abdominal bloating and uncontrolled infection?
