What Causes Continuous Bleeding For A Diabetic With D&C Procedure Done?
I am 50 years - Last year in June 2013 I have done my DNC, after the DNC also I had my periods continously as usual on 25th or 26th of every month - till Nover 2013. I have not got my periods in the month of December 2013 and on January 23rd I got my periods and still continuing - today is the 15th day - now there is no heavy flow as such bu still it has not stopped. Should I consult the doctor - I am a diabetic patient too - on insulin. Please advice me.
Bleeding issues you are experiencing could be just perimenopausal symptoms before the onset of actual menopause. However, persistent bleeding in the perimenopausal age group needs to be evaluated with pelvic Ultrasound and endometrial biopsy to rule out any uterine/ovarian pathology.
