What Causes Delay In Periods And Dark Spotting While On Birth Control?

Hello, I am emailig because my period is late. I am on birth control but I switched packs last month so I am wondering if that caused me to miss my period. I experience one day of spotting dark brown/black blood and then nothing more. I missed a few pills last month as well but took the pill the next day. I also took a urine pregnancy test which came out negative. Please advise.

Nothing to worry about, You should eventually get back to normal.

Take multi vitamin and calcium supplements
Do consult a gynecologist if symptoms worsen
