OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

OC pills cannot be taken and stopped at any time. After intercourse, if you wish to avoid pregnancy then you should take an emergency contraceptive pill, rather than OC pills. Nonetheless, because of the OC pills taken irregularly, it might have caused irregular periods, but still, to rule out pregnancy, you should get a urine pregnancy test done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
