What Causes Delayed Withdrawal Bleeding After Taking I Pill?
I had unprotected sex on 7th day of the cycle considering day 1 to be the day when period started. Ejaculation was not done in the vagina. Had i pill within 24 hours and had severe abdominal pain the next day. But its been my 5th day i have taken the pill but no bleeding has yet started. Can you guide when can i expect the period
You have taken the emergency pill correctly in the first 24 hours so you are safe of unwanted pregnancy.
The emergency pills are highly effective when taken within 72 hours. Using emergency pills doesn't mean that you will necessarily have bleeding as a sign that it has worked.
I would recommend you to take another contraception method for the rest of the month in order not to use frequently the I pill.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
