My 20 year old son had 8 cavities in the last year and he visits the dentist twice annually and gets fluoride treatment my husband and his family also have terrible teeth., so much so, my husband had dental implants around age 40. Why? And what can we do?
Hello, thank you for consulting with healthcaremagic. Actually cavities are caused by decrease in pH of oral cavity, which is because of increase in sugar intake, and sometimes it is genetic also. Better you should give a regular visit to dentist every 6 months and even ask him to tell you proper brushing technique, as well as proper hygiene maintainence. Hope it will help you.
