1 am 36 weeks pregnant, and i have the result of my ultrasound.. i foudn out that there is dilation on the left and right renal pelvis measuring 2.4x1.5x0.6cm , 1.4x1.1x0.8cm.. i am so worried finding out that there is a kidney problem.. what should i do? please explain to me what are the possible things for me to do

It is quite normal for pregnant women to have dilation in the kidney (what we call hydronephrosis). This is caused by hormonal effects and changes during pregnancy and the compression of the gravid uterus to the ureters (the tubes that connects the kidney to the bladder). Since you are nearing term, You can observe the condition and repeat ultrasound 6 weeks after giving birth.
