What Causes Dizziness And Blurry Vision Having The BP Low?
I am currently on valsartan 160mg and aspirin 80mg daily for high blood pressure. My blood pressure has been low for some time noteably the diastolic lower readings.my count could be 105/63 pulse 84,three minutes later112/65 pulse 62, then three minutes it goes down to92/70 pulse 80 then three minutes 86/49 pulse73. These readings are very much the same each day and I feel quite dizzy. I have had my eyes checked and there is nothing wrong says my optometrist. She gave me drops for dry eyes which does nothing for my somewhat blurry vision and dizziness. Can you help me?
You need to get the root cause for fluctuating blood pressure determined by a detailed exam by your physician. There can be other causes for dizziness such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV), low blood sugar levels, anemia, dehydration, anxiety.
Sometimes a dose adjustment is required for stabilisation of the blood pressure. Do review with your physician for the fluctuating blood pressure. It is very unlikely to be due to any ocular cause.
Momentary blurring of vision can occur with a sudden drop in blood sugar level or fluctuating blood pressure ( sudden hypotension).
I hope you find the answer satisfactory. Thank you and best wishes
