Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was at the gym today. suddenly felt very dizzy, nauseous and the room became a bit hazy and gray. I sat down and closed my eyes, but EMT was called in . My blood pressure was 89/58, and according to them I had paled and was cold and clammy . I did not want to go to emergency, and felt better after after about 1 hr. Is this something to worry about or possibly due to something minor like dehydration? thanks
I perfectly understand your concern but there is nothing to worry about as you were exercising the oxygen demand increases which may add up to the dehydration which is common in this hot climate..I suggest you drink lots of water to maintain adequate hydration but if these attacks are repeated you can consult a neurologist and get a CT scan done just to rule out.For now nothing to worry you can carry out continue your schedule.
Hope my answer satisfies your querry.

Dr.Tushar Tamboli
