What Causes Dull Mental Status In A Patient Of Thalamic Bleed?

MY PATIENT HAD A R THALMIC BLEED LAST WEEK, ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL (ICU) FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, D/C TO HOME. CURRENTLY, NOTHING OUTSTANDING WITH HIS NEURO CHECKS. NO VISUAL, HEARING PROBLEMS. FACE IS SYMMETRICAL, NO PTOSIS, DENIES HA, DIZZINESS, LIGHTHEADEDNESS; GAIT IS SLOW AND STEADY, NO GAIT DEVIATION NOTED. PUPILS DO SEEM SLIGHTLY MIOTIC, BUT REACT EQUALLY TO LIGHT. HAND GRASPS APPEAR EQUAL, HE CAN RECEIVE INFORMATION AND THEN WRITE DOWN WHAT HE HAS BEEN INSTRUCTED TO WRITE WITHOUT DIFFICULTY.....HOWEVER, THERE IS A BIT OF A FLAT AFFECT; HIS MENTAL STATUS APPEARS DULLED WITHOUT OTHER SYMPTOMS. IS THERE SOMETHING MORE I SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR?
