What Causes Episodes Of Vomiting With Stomach Pain?

My 7 year old daughter has episodes of vomiting with no other symptoms. They usually last 2-4 days - sometimes longer. She had an episode a couple of weeks ago, and another started yesterday. She only complains of stomach pain. She is unable to take in fluids without them coming back up. She has had issues with motion sickness in the past. I have just found information online about CVS and wonder if this may be the cause of her episodes - her pediatrician has never mentioned it before. There is a family history of migraines.

Hi...if these symptoms are associated with any specific precipitating factors like stress, tiredness, some food then there is chance of having abdominal migraine.. U can discuss this possibility with your pediatrician so that he can take proper history and start treatment if necessary... Thanks
