What Causes Eruption Of Lump Of Gum Tissue Instead Of Tooth In A Child?
My baby is almost 10 months old and has 11 teeth. I just noticed that his back right bottom mollar is trying to come in, but instead of seeing tooth it looks like a lump of gum tissue coming out of it (or a knot-like in the place of the tooth) It's really strange looking and I don't know if I should take him in or wait until Monday...i've never seen anything like it before. and it was not there lastnight when I looked in his gum...

i don't see a reason that you should be worried at all.It seems like that teeth is erupting and therefore its just a pre stage of it.
