Hi.

I had gone through your query.

Excessive sleeping with depression can be part of atypical depression. It is different kind of depression and require treatment with SSRI and NDRI.

Bupropion/ modafinil can be useful in such depression.

Proper care for diabetes is also essential for better psychological health.
Detail psychological evaluation can be useful for better treatment.

Consult psychiatrist fir better assistance.

Glad to help you further.

Thank you.
